Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala (Indian spice blend)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to make the marinade.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well to coat.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  • Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
